When did you start working in the travel industry?

I have just started working in the travel industry. The world intrigues me and my passion for travelling and exploring it has led me to choose a new career in travel.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

Learning about all of the destinations and sharing the ever growing knowledge with customers to help them have a great holiday is very rewarding.

Where would you like to visit next?

I have just booked a holiday to Thailand. I will be island-hopping around Koh Kut, Ko Mak and Ko Chang and then heading up to Khao Yai National park for some wildlife spotting among the forests and waterfalls. I have chosen Thailand as I have not been before and as it is so popular with customers I think it is a good destination to experience.

What is your dream holiday destination?

I would like to go to Nepal to trek through parts of the Himalayas, the scenery would be amazing and I would love to meet some locals who live in the remote towns.

What were your favourite childhood holidays?

As a child, I often went to Majorca. I have fond memories of my parents hiring a car and exploring many parts of the island, I won't ever forget those cliff edges! I enjoyed finding lots of different beaches and little towns. The hotel had good children's entertainment for the evenings so I always had new friends to meet.

My Favourite Memory

Australia is my favourite holiday destination. Its safe and although it is so big it is surprisingly easy to get around if you want to see multiple destinations in one trip. I have always had great weather when I have been, the locals are some of the friendliest people I have ever met and with a mixture of exciting cities, beautiful beaches and stunning national parks to explore what more could you want.

's Top Tips

1) On long haul, I aim for flights that arrive at night time, so I can go straight to sleep and then wake up at the same time as everyone else, it helps with the jet lag.

2) Take a pre-loaded currency card to avoid carrying too much cash, you may pay an ATM fee but no bank fees.

3) I have stayed in a few hotel rooms with only one or two plug sockets so now I take a multi-plug socket to ensure all our electronics can be charged each night and that only requires one travel adapter.
